Advanced Practice Center The Seattle-King County Advanced Practice Center (APC) is a resource for local public health agencies throughout the nation as it develops plans and builds local and regional capacity for responding to an act of bioterrorism or other public health emergency.
Northwest Healthcare Response Network The Northwest Healthcare Response Network is a coalition of healthcare organizations working together to strengthen healthcare emergency preparedness and response capabilities in the Puget Sound through collaborative planning, training and exercise programs. The Network is currently administered by Public Health Seattle & King County in partnership with the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, but will be transitioning to an independent nonprofit organization in January 2014.
Vulnerable Populations Action Team (VPAT) The Vulnerable Populations Action Team (VPAT) coordinates countywide preparedness efforts with a wide variety of community partners. The team includes a diverse cross section of staff with public health expertise in vulnerable populations, preparedness and infectious diseases.
