For King County schools, child care and early childhood programs
Employers, schools, and day care centers should not require a doctor's note for workers, students, or children who are ill with flu or flu-like illness to validate their illness before returning to work, school, or child care. Doctors' offices will be extremely busy caring for ill persons and vaccinating their patients.
