The Coalition is a network of healthcare organizations and providers that are committed to coordinating their emergency preparedness and response activities. The purpose is to develop & maintain a comprehensive system that assures effective communication, strategic acquisition and management of resources, and collaborative planning in response to emergencies & disasters.
2009 Healthcare Coalition Annual Report (PDF, 1.5 Mb.) 2009 was a busy year, full of responses, planning, and learning. The members and partners of the Healthcare Coalition recognize that our efforts to coordinate and plan collaboratively directly contributed to our successes throughout the H1N1 event, as well as to the planning for the potential flooding of the Green River.
