Allow 11 hours PLUS breaks and meals, which can be 2 full-day or 4 afterschool workshops. Ideally, elementary, middle and high school staffs would have separate training, but it isn't strictly necessary. Agendas can be tailored to your district's needs, but this is a sample... Day 1: The Basics

Costs to the school district |

- Trainers:
- Within King County, Public Health can cover one of your two trainers for a one day training at no cost to a district or ESD. Contact your closest health educator (see above.)
- Outside King County, two trainers cost $3,250-5,650 depending upon the length of a workshop -- one or two days -- and the amount of travel time for trainers. This fee covers two trainers for one to two days for up to 40 participants and at least one planning meeting with the district, as well as the contracting and coordination of trainers' services provided by Cardea.
