Maternity Care Practices – Increasing Support for Early Breastfeeding
On August 17, 2010, the Public Health - Seattle & King County WIC and Nutrition Services Program convened a special Breastfeeding Roundtable to discuss increasing support for early breastfeeding in South King County. Support for this forum was from Breastfeeding Infrastructure Funding that the Washington State DOH WIC Program received from USDA. Nearly 60 representatives from Public Health, WIC, community medical providers, five area hospitals participated in small and large group discussions.
