King County grantees working on tobacco prevention
For tobacco prevention, Public Health offered 15 grants to schools, local governments and community organizations. These grantees are working on the following goals:
- Tobacco-free and smoke-free environments: multi-family housing, schools, childcare, parks and public places, hospitals, colleges and universities
- Systems changes to increase access to help to quit from employers, childcare providers, hospitals and mental health and chemical dependency treatment centers
