Curry Marinade
(makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lowfat, plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala (see recipe)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Spread over your choice of meat, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before cooking.
