Funding for community-based HIV counseling and testing available for 2006 and 2007

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - Public Health - Seattle & King County announces the availability of funding for Community-Based HIV Counseling and Testing for 2006 and 2007. All agencies interested in receiving HIV counseling and testing funds through Public Health must participate in this competitive application process.

An estimated $300,000 is available for the 24-month period from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2007. Availability of funds may be subject to change.

Staff will review the application packet and offer technical assistance to applicant agencies at a Bidders Conference on Tuesday, June 7 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Yesler Building, Third Floor, 400 Yesler Way, Seattle. All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.

Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) package is available by:

  • Downloading the materials from Public Health's website: www.kingcounty.gov/health/hiv
  • Requesting an application package or diskette by phone: 206-296-4649
  • Picking up an application package at the HIV/AIDS Program offices at 400 Yesler Way, 3rd Floor, Seattle
