KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - Public Health - Seattle & King County announces the availability of the 2006-2007 HIV/AIDS Prevention/Education funding application package. All agencies interested in receiving Prevention/Education funds through Public Health must participate in this competitive application process which will result in allocation of Prevention/Education funds in King County for the period January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2007.
The estimated amount available for the 24 month period of this competitive allocation process is $3 million dollars. Assumptions about the availability of funds may be subject to change.
Staff will review the application packet and offer technical assistance to applicant agencies at a Bidders Conference on Tuesday, May 10th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Community Room B of the 2100 Building (2100 - 24th Avenue South at Walker). All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend, as this Request for Proposal (RFP) contains several changes from previous funding cycles.
Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2005.
