9. Briefing: Budget Overview
The purpose of this briefing is to describe the process for the development of the 2004 budget for Public Health, including challenges and assumptions. A more detailed briefing on the Department's budget will be provided in October.
10. Briefing: Title X - Solid Waste Handling
Due to the recently adopted changes to WAC Chapter 173-350 Solid Waste Handling Standards, the Department will be proposing a number of changes to the Code of the King County Board of Health - Title X - King County Solid Waste Handling. Today's briefing will consist of a description of the proposed amendments and a general outline of the proposed rulemaking, scheduled for October 17th and November 21st.
