Public Health announces availability of HIV Prevention Funds for 2004 and 2005

KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - Public Health - Seattle & King County announces the availability of $3.4 million in HIV/AIDS Prevention/Education funding. All agencies interested in receiving Prevention/Education funds through Public Health must participate in this competitive application process which will result in allocation of Prevention/Education funds from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2005.

Public Health will review the application packet and offer technical assistance to applicant agencies at a Bidders Conference on Monday, July 21st from 9 a.m. to noon at the King County Administration Building, 5th and James, Maynard Room, 2nd Floor. Public Health staff will hold a technical assistance workshop on grant writing, budgeting and evaluation basics on Wednesday, July 30th from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Safeco Center, 306 23rd Avenue South. All potential applicants are encouraged to attend.

Applications are due on August 29, 2003.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) package is available in three ways:

  2. Request an application package or diskette by phone: 206-296-4649
  3. Pick up an application package at the HIV/AIDS Program offices at 400 Yesler Way, 3rd Floor, Seattle
