KING COUNTY, WA - This week, Public Health - Seattle & King County's civic television show "Spotlight on Environmental Health" is offering a special edition on bioterrorism.
In this 30 minute program, Public Health's Director, Dr. Alonzo Plough, and the Chief of Epidemiology and Communicable Disease, Dr. Jeff Duchin will:
- Define bioterrorism.
- Explain how Public Health would know if a bioterrorism event happened.
- Describe Public Health's role in protecting the community.
- Explain how the public would learn about an event and how they would know what to do.
- Provide tips for communities, families and indiuviduals on being prepared.
- Provide resources for more information.
This program can be seen on CTV (Channel 22 on AT&T Broadband) on:
