The Board adopted the regulations restricting tobacco product advertisements in publicly visible locations in September, 1998. The provisions call for black on white text advertisements and limitations on tobacco advertisement placement in outdoor locations. The Board will consider this rule in response to the ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals which invalidates the regulations.)
- Rulemaking to Revise Food Service Establishment Fees (Action Item)
(The Board will consider regulatory options for reducing fees for food service establishment permits. In November, the Board increased the fees to cover the expected loss of revenue from MVET due to I-695. In light of the MVET mitigation by the State, the Board will consider fee reductions.)
