KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON - A series of public forums will be convened by Public Health - Seattle & King County during the next few months to update constituents on the status of Medic One and the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system.
The presentations have been scheduled throughout King County, and everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting schedule follows this announcement on a separate sheet.
Each of these meetings will include a presentation and a question and answer session. EMS staff will provide a general overview of the EMS system, a summary of the EMS Strategic Plan and status of the Strategic Initiatives, a review of the EMS Financial Plan for 2000, and a description of the strategy for the future of Medic One and other EMS services in King County. A panel of EMS providers and advisors will be available to assist in the discussion and respond to questions from the audience.
Data specific to each community will be available for review at each meeting. In addition, copies of the 1999 EMS Annual Report will be available to those who want them.
