Instructions to submit a Public Records Request

HIV/STD clinics

Most primary care (private) providers and health maintenance organization (HMO) provide testing and care. Cost varies.

Walk-in clinic for STD evaluation/treatment and HIV testing.

  • Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • Tuesday, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

Registration opens at 7:45 am. If you need to be seen later than 4 p.m. please talk to our staff to make sure we are still accepting patients for the day.

Fees are based on income using a sliding scale. NO PERSON WILL BE DENIED SERVICE BECAUSE OF INABILITY TO PAY. Patients may be charged a minimum fee of $15. Fees will be discussed with the provider you see.

Public Health Family Planning Clinics
The Public Health Family Planning clinics offer HIV and other STD testing. HIV testing fees are based on client's income, and may be reduced to zero. People who need HIV testing will be served even if they cannot pay. The clinics also accept Provider One cards.

Gay City offers free HIV/STD testing to gay and bi men, and transgender people who have sex with men. All appointments include Rapid HIV Testing, HIV RNA testing, and screening for syphilis. Gay City also offers chlamydia and gonorrhea screening for those that are eligible*. Appointments are available by calling 206-860-6969. Walk-ins can also be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Tuesday – Friday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Saturdays from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm

*Gay City cannot test for other STDs if you are having symptoms. If you need a referral to places that do, call the HIV/STD Program 206-296-4649.
