About the Injury Prevention Program
Public Health - Seattle & King County's Violence and Injury Prevention Unit focuses on a number of critical, yet entirely preventable health issues including deaths and injuries from motor vehicle crashes, drowning, and firearms. The Unit plans, implements, and evaluates selected approaches to reduce death and serious injuries to ultimately improve the health of communities in Seattle and King County.
