This map reflects the cumulative number of dead birds sighted in King County and reported to Public Health - Seattle & King County from January 1, 2011 through September 22, 2011. As of Sept. 22nd, 296 dead birds were reported and mapped, with 33 selected for laboratory testing, 26 test results received and 0 birds tested positive for WNV

This map reflects the cumulative number of dead birds sighted in King County and reported to Public Health - Seattle & King County from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. No West Nile virus was detected in King County in 2010.
- 2009 West Nile virus dead bird surveillance map
This map reflects the cumulative number of dead birds sighted in King County and reported to Public Health - Seattle & King County from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. 1,060 dead birds were reported and 51 were selected for laboratory testing to monitor for the presence of West Nile virus in the county. Two of the birds tested positive for West Nile virus.

This map reflects the cumulative number of dead birds sighted in King County and reported to Public Health - Seattle & King County from January 1, 2008 through October 31, 2008. As of October 31, 1552 dead birds were reported (1512 could be mapped) and 71 selected for laboratory testing to monitor for the presence of West Nile virus in the county. To date, three dead birds have tested positive for West Nile virus; the birds were found dead on 9/14/2008, 9/24/2008, and 10/16/2008.
