Instructions to submit a Public Records Request

Rat in the Toilet reporting form

Public Health investigates complaints about rats in toilets within Seattle city limits. To file a complaint over the phone call 206-205-4394. Investigators will follow up on your complaint by inspecting sewers near your residence, and baiting them if evidence of rats is seen. Public Health cannot go into your home and eliminate rats.

This form is for reporting problems that are directly associated to finding a rat in a toilet in the City of Seattle. All other inquiries about rats can be reported online via the Solid Waste and Rodent program complaint form or by calling 206-205-4394. More information about rats.
