Ebola facts and resources

Currently in King County and in Washington state, no one is sick with Ebola illness. While we don’t know whether or not we will someday have a person sick with Ebola in King County, the risk of an Ebola outbreak in our community is very low. Unless you have had contact with the body fluids of people with Ebola virus you are at no risk whatsoever.

Public Health – Seattle & King County, together with our partners, continues to watch for potential illness. If anyone becomes sick with Ebola, we will promptly notify the public and take the additional steps necessary with our partners to prevent additional infections.
