Health education materials for child care providers
You can now get your King County Food Worker Card online!
This Washington State required certification for food workers is now available in an online format where you can take the course and test when it is convenient for you.Before you start, get ready:
- You will be printing your card once you pass the test at the end of the online class, so make sure you have a working printer connected to your computer.
- The cost of the class and test is $10, payable with VISA, MasterCard or Discover card and debit cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo after you pass the test.
- Typical users take approximately 1 hour to take the course and test.
- Online training is available in English, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Closed Caption.

Online Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV/AIDS class
Need a Bloodborne Pathogens class at a convenient time and location? How about a class as close as your home or work computer that you can take anytime?
The Child Care Health Program of Public Health – Seattle & King County is partnering with the Puget Sound Educational Service District’s Early Learning Outreach Program to offer a new online HIV/AIDS/Bloodborne Pathogens class for child care providers. This new online class will provide the opportunity to take a class specifically designed for child care providers at a time and place convenient to you. All that’s needed is a computer with Internet access. The class costs $30 per person. Credit card or personal check payments are accepted. Please allow 3 days for credit card transactions and 10 days for personal check transactions. You will receive a notification e-mail when your transaction is complete and you can begin taking the course.
