Quality Review Team

Quality Review Teams are consumers, family members, and interested persons working to ensure that the rights of mental health consumers are acknowledged and protected.

The King County Quality Review Team (QRT) reviews the performance of service providers to identify the strengths and the areas that need improvement within the publicly funded mental health system. The QRT gathers data and listens to feedback from consumers. Methods for gathering feedback may include written surveys, individualized interviews, client "speak outs," focus groups, and agency on-site visits. The QRT compiles and analyzes the information collected. The QRT may issue reports on findings and make recommendations for change. The QRT also monitors whether changes occur.

The QRT educates consumers about their rights and helps empower consumers to advocate for the mental health services they want. Consumers can be assured that their opinions, feelings and needs are heard by King County Mental Health.

If you have information that you would like to share, contact Steven Collins or Lenore Meyer of the Quality Review Team.
