Welcome To King County Mental Health Services!

King County is committed to offering quality mental health services to you and your family. Our philosophy of care is based on the Ten Fundamentals of Recovery; we believe in treating the whole individual, not just the illness.  We not only provide crisis intervention and community mental health treatment, we also offer supportive services that enhance the effectiveness of mental health treatment. These supportive services include client and family resources, housing, employment, and criminal justice initiatives. By offering this broad array of services, we help individuals achieve their full potential and improve their overall quality of life.

King County provides publicly funded mental health services to low-income people in need. To find out if you qualify for King County Mental Health Services, see who we serve. Even if you do not qualify for our mental health services, you can find out about other low-cost mental health service providers.

King County Mental Health Services, along with Substance Abuse Services, are managed by the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division, one of four divisions in the King County Department of Community and Human Services. Call us for any questions you may have or to find a mental health provider in your area.  We look forward to hearing from you!
