The topics include an overview of the Social Security system, work incentives and information to assist individuals with disabilities to manage their benefits while working. School to Work Orientations: These are information sessions for families and individuals with developmental disabilities who are interested in the King County School to Work Program, which is for students with developmental disabilities (ages 20-21 in the last year of school) who want to graduate with a job. For more information contact Kelley Faulkner. There are no sessions scheduled at this time. Transition Fairs: These are resource fairs for students with developmental disabilities (ages 14-21), their families, educators and employment providers. The Transition Fairs will allow students, family members and educators to get to know and interview vocational providers. There will also be booths for other community providers including state agencies, parks and recreation, housing resources and more.
