Crisis Services

The King County Mental Health Plan (KCMHP) offers services for people that are in a crisis because of mental health problems.

If you are not enrolled in the KCMHP and need help for yourself or someone you know who is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call the Crisis Clinic at 206-461-3222. The Crisis Clinic refers individuals to our crisis services based on age.

If you are enrolled in the KCMHP and are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call your mental health provider. All of our contracted mental health providers offer crisis services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

King County provides crisis intervention services for children through a contract with the Children's Crisis Outreach Response System and offers crisis intervention services for older adults through coordination with the Geriatric Regional Assessment Team.
