Treatment plant tours - photos

Plant tour

More than 2,100 people a year tour one of King County's two regional wastewater treatment plants in Renton and Seattle. Visitors see how wastewater is treated and reclaimed, biosolids are created, and energy is recovered. Tours are available for schools and community, civic, environmental and professional groups as well as international visitors. More tour information.

Here's what you can expect on a typical tour (photos are taken at the South Treatment Plant)
