Wastewater education program

The Wastewater Treatment Division's education programs provide information on treatment plants, clean water processes and technology, resource recovery, pollution prevention for homes and businesses and Puget Sound health.

Brightwater tours and programs:
-- School programs with treatment plant tours (grades 4-8) are available Tuesday-Thursday. Make a reservation online or contact Susan Tallarico, Brightwater EECC Director, for more information.

-- Treatment plant tours are available at 10 a.m. and 12 noon on the following Saturdays: February 25th, March 24th, April 21st, May 19th. 
Please note: beginning in March, reservations are REQUIRED for all Saturday Open house tours participants.   
 
-- Community and professional tours (groups larger than 10) are available by appointment. Individuals and small groups can join weekly on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. starting March 13th.  Registration required.

South Plant tours:
-- Groups grades 4-12, colleges, community groups and professionals are available Monday-Friday April through July.
-- Community tour Saturday April 14, 10 a.m. Registration required

West Point tours:

-- College and professional tours are available at West Point April through July.

Registration for all spring tours begins March 12th. Register online
