Property acquisition and relocationRight-of-way and permitting for wastewater treatment The Regulatory Compliance and Land Acquisition Services Unit of King County's Wastewater Treatment Division is responsible for meeting the real property and permitting needs for all division projects. Its responsibilities includes analyzing site and corridors issues, acquiring real property and easements, managing properties and providing relocation assistance when necessary. The unit is also responsible for acquiring land use, construction and environmental permits from local, state and federal agencies for division projects. In planning its facilities, the Wastewater Treatment Division strives to be a good neighbor and has developed an acquisition and relocation process that is fair and equitable.
