Schedule

The county is currently evaluating alternative means for CSO control in each basin. Key milestones of the decision process (PDF) include:

  • Fall 2009 -- identify and evaluate a range of approaches for CSO control in basins
  • Spring 2010 -- present alternatives to basin communities
  • Summer 2010 -- decide on a proposal to submit for environmental review under State Environmental Protection Act (SEPA)
  • December 2010 -- submit draft Facilities Plan to Department of Ecology
  • 2011 to 2013 -- complete design and permitting
  • Late 2013 -- begin construction
