King County is hosting a meeting for Westwood and Sunrise Heights residents slated to have bioretention swales on their blocks to discuss existing trees, proposed plants for the bioretention swales and maintenance.

- Retention and protection of existing trees
- Plan for tree relocation (transplanting) and replacement
- Pathways across the bioretention swales
- Maintenance approach

King County will be hosting two community meetings for Westwood and Sunrise Heights neighbors to discuss the Barton Basin Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) project.
The project team invites you to learn about:
- Streets selected for detailed evaluation
- Process used for street selection
- Next steps
- Opportunities for public input
Meetings include a short presentation on bioswale design and street selection, and sessions to discuss streets in detail and receive neighborhood feedback.
