Project Area Map - Hidden Lake Pump Station Replacement and Sewer Improvement Project

Hidden Lake Pump Station replacement and sewer improvement

To protect public health and the environment, the King County Wastewater Treatment Division determined it must replace the aging Hidden Lake Pump Station and 12,000 feet of the nearby Boeing Creek trunk sewer in west Shoreline.

King County also needed to build an underground wastewater storage pipe in Boeing Creek Park to help limit overflows to nearby Puget Sound. The 500,000-gallon storage pipe will store wastewater temporarily during peak storms. Construction is expected to run from summer 2006 through spring 2009.

Project Schedule

The only above ground structure in Boeing Creek Park is an odor control stack disguised as a tree snag.
