To limit disruptions, the system is being built almost entirely below ground in tunnels 40 to 400 feet deep. There are five shafts, called portals, where workers, equipment and materials enter and exit the tunnels during construction. Brightwater Reclaimed Water - south section constructionThis project will extend from the North Creek Pump Station in Bothell to the Sammamish Valley near the Willows Run Golf Course.
