The State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) requires public agencies to consider the possible adverse environmental impacts of their projects. The King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) prepared an environmental checklist to identify these impacts for the Hidden Lake Pump Station Replacement and Sewer Improvement Project. Based on the checklist, WTD determined that the project's possible adverse environmental impacts would not be significant. WTD issued a SEPA Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) for the project on March 24, 2004.
Technical reports- Hidden Lake Service Area Report, May 2000. This report evaluates the existing Hidden Lake service area, pump station, and related conveyance system components. Wastewater planning for the service area is driven more by the need to address the immediate concerns of alleviating the operational difficulties at the Hidden Lake Pump Station, managing peak wet weather flows while anticipating the effects of future sewer deterioration, and controlling odor, rather than accommodating future growth.
