The Science and Technical Support Section newsletters are designed to increase awareness of the Section’s programs, staff expertise, services, current and emerging issues including changing conditions.

The section’s intent and purpose is to promote the use and understanding of our scientific data and information and to educate and share knowledge on the “value and benefits” of Environmental Sciences.

All articles are based on activities that are currently in the Science and Technical Support Section's work program. All files are provided in Adobe Acrobat format.

Science Seminars

The next Science Seminar is scheduled for April 27, 2010 at the King Street Center, 201 South Jackson Street.  Look for the formal announcement and agenda.  Science Seminars are forums wherein county science staff present recent findings from their environmental monitoring programs.  More information.
