Focused stewardship assistance in the Snoqualmie: A model for rural watersheds
In 2008, the Environmental Protection Agency awarded King County a grant to improve environmental conditions in Raging River and Patterson Creek watersheds. This grant will: - Help landowners with technical assistance and financial incentives on a variety of environmental challenges.
- Create a large number of connected properties that are improving or protecting the natural resources on their land.
- Develop a locally grown, community driven network that provides technical assistance after the grant is finished.
