Cedar River Landslide

A view of the slide taken from where the Cedar River used to be. The river is still visible in the distance, but the forground is a mess of trees and mud. A closeup of one of the excavators clearing the new connection between the river and the side channel. The large machine is only a couple feet from the fast moving water.
The photo above shows the landslide that completely blocked the Cedar River. This photo shows one of the excavators working to clear a new connection between the river and the pre existing side channel.
