ST-HIST: Sea-Tac Historical Runoff Files 01/08/96

3.3 MB compressed
8.5 MB uncompressed

Requires: KCRTS.EXE version 3.05 or later and supporting files.

3 MB of additional RAM to store longer arrays.

1ST-HIST.EXE contains the full historical simulated runoff records for the Sea-Tac raingauge. These data sets are in runoff file format (RNF), supported by version 3.05 and later of the King County Runoff Time Series (KCRTS) program. These historical runoff files were generated using HSPF10 calibrated to the Puget Sound "regionalized parameters" developed by U.S.G.S. and King County.

The historical runoff files supplement the standard 8-year "reduced" runoff files, used for most analysis under the King County Surface Water Design Manual. The Design Manual requires the use of the full historical records only when on-site detention must be tailored to control conditions downstream at a large reservoir.

Technical support for registered versions of KCRTS can be obtained by calling (206) 296-8327, or 296-1900. E-mail can be sent to steve.foley@metrokc.gov. To purchase your copy of the program, contact WLR Document sales at (206)296-6519.

Installation:

Save the download file to the KC_SWDM\KC_DATA subdirectory. Extract out the program files by running the saved file (1ST-HIST.EXE).

NOTE: The ST_LU.DAT file must be in the same subdirectory as the runoff files.
