A Study of Agricultural Drainage in the Puget Sound Lowlands to Determine Practices which Minimize Detrimental Effects on Salmonids: Final Report

Cover - 2008 agricultural drainage studyA Study of Agricultural Drainage in the Puget Sound Lowlands to Determine Practices which Minimize Detrimental Effects on Salmonids: Final Report provides the results of a 5-year investigation of agricultural waterway maintenance practices and how they affect salmonids in King County drainage systems. The report encompasses four broad areas of study including fish biology, instream and riparian habitat and sediment.  Within each of these areas, two to four research questions were developed with methodologies and quality assurance procedures, and a total of twelve specific questions were addressed by the study.

This report compiles research results conducted by numerous researchers from Washington State University and the University of Washington.
