Shoreline Master Program Update

King County held a first round of public meetings in February, 2007 to present a draft document describing the condition of shorelines in unincorporated King County and to understand public interests and concerns.

Based on the condition of King County shorelines and public input, King County prepared a first Draft Shoreline Master Program and held a second round of meetings in June, 2007 for the public to review the plan and comment.

King County prepared a second Draft Shoreline Master Program based on comments received in June, 2007, and held a third round of public meetings in October 2007 for public review, as part of the draft King County Comprehensive Plan process.
