King County Industrial Waste Program EnvirOvation AwardKCIW's EnvirOvation Award is given to one or more companies that have: voluntarily implemented an innovative pollution prevention strategy; significantly updated their pretreatment equipment or methods; significantly reduced the amount of wastes being discharged to King County sewers; significantly reduced their water use, or shown leadership in helping other companies comply with industrial pretreatment regulations. EnvirOvation Award winners are eligible to be nominated for a King County Green Globe Leader in Industrial Waste Reduction Award.2008 EnvirOvation Award: Protective Coatings Inc. of Kent has won KCIW's 2008 EnvirOvation Award in recognition of its pollution prevention, waste reduction, and water use reduction activities.
