Kirkland Pump Station and Sewer Upgrade Community Meeting
Wednesday, Sept. 28
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Peter Kirk Community Center -- Lobby Meeting Room
352 Kirkland Avenue
Kirkland

The Kirkland Pump Station, located at the corner of Third Street and Park Lane, has been in continuous operation for more than 40 years. To ensure safe and reliable operations for years to come and meet the needs of a growing population, King County is carrying out a project to build a new station that will increase pumping capacity from 6 million gallons per day (mgd) to a peak capacity of 9.4 mgd.  The new facility will also meet current design standards including improved odor and noise control. The project will also entail upgrading sewer lines next to the pump station underneath Kirkland Avenue from Third Street to Railroad Avenue.

For more information on the project, please visit the project website at www.kingcounty.gov/environment/wtd/Construction/East/Kirkland.aspx or call
