Utility crews responding to treated wastewater overflow in south Seattle
Employees from King County’s clean-water utility are working to control an overflow of treated wastewater from a manhole at the intersection of West Marginal Way S.W. and S.W. Front Street.

King County Parks has selected an all-star panel of judges to choose the winning design in the “Little Footprint, Big Forest” competition to create an overnight camping shelter from a 20-foot-long shipping container.

Improvements and repairs require closure of Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center
New energy efficient lighting, fresh paint and numerous repairs are coming to the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, which is preparing to host two major events in the coming year, including the competition to determine which divers will represent the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Plaza Marina Park reopens after King County cleans wastewater
Plaza Marina Park in Kirkland was reopened Friday afternoon, July 15, after King County wastewater utility crews cleaned up a wastewater overflow that occurred yesterday morning at the King County Wastewater’s Kirkland Pump Station.

Kirkland Pump Station resumes normal operation after power failure
King County wastewater utility crews were able to restore normal operation at the Kirkland Pump Station in downtown Kirkland following a power failure that occurred around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
