Brighten your holiday mail and gift giving while helping King County Parks with Zazzle

shopparks Personalize your gifts and cards this holiday season while making a positive difference for King County Parks through Zazzle, an online marketplace for buying and selling custom-printed items.

King County Parks’ partnership with Zazzle has resulted in a wide range of postage, holiday cards and t-shirts that can be purchased online and feature unique scenes of King County parks and open space areas. Cards can also be customized with your favorite family snapshot.

Every time Zazzle items are purchased through the King County Parks store Web site, Zazzle donates 27 percent of the net sales from purchased items back to King County Parks. The funds help cover parks maintenance and operation expenses.

“Our partnership with Zazzle provides everyone with an easy and affordable way to help maintain King County Parks’ tremendous array of facilities – from the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center, to sprawling Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park,” said Parks Director Kevin Brown.

King County Parks will generate more than $4 million in business revenues this year, with roughly $2 million of that amount coming from partnerships, enterprise initiatives and donations.

King County Parks - Your Big Backyard - offers more than 25,000 acres of parks and natural lands, including such regional treasures as Marymoor Park and Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, 175 miles of regional trails, plus pools and a world-class aquatic center. By cultivating strong relationships with non-profit, corporate and community partners, King County Parks enhances park amenities while reducing costs.
