King County’s ‘Recycle More. It's Easy To Do.’ media campaign wins national awards
Ads promoting King County's simple solutions to common barriers for
recycling have received national recognition for effectively conveying
the county's messages.
King County Solid Waste won
one gold and four silver "DAVEY" Awards for the "Recycle More. It's
Easy To Do." ads promoting easy solutions to common barriers to
recycling.
The ads titled, "Garage", "Peanut
Butter" and "Home Office" won in the categories of Low Budget, Public
Service and Promotional/Branding.
The DAVEY Awards
exclusively honor the "Davids" of creativity – the finest small firms,
agencies and companies in the world. David defeated the giant Goliath
with a big idea and a little rock.
The annual Davey
Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive
their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets.

The three television ads for "Recycle More. It's Easy to Do." campaign also each won a bronze 2007 Telly Award,
which honor the best local, regional, and cable television commercials
and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.
The
competition received more than 13,000 entries from TV stations,
production companies and ad agencies from around the word and is one of

The
"Recycle More. It's Easy to Do." ads were seen on A&E, Discovery,
