Enjoy this weekend both inside and out with King County Parks' activities. Some upcoming activities include the 59th annual Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and a performance by award winning country star Jesse Cook. Check out all the fun activities available:

King County Fairgrounds

July 29-31

  • 59th annual Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering.

    Friday, July 29, 6:45 p.m. – 10 p.m.
    Saturday, July 30, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
    Sunday, July 31, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

    These dancers compete locally, nationally and internationally at competitions and Highland Games throughout the year.


Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center

July 29-31

  • Pacific Northwest Long Course Swimming Championship

    Friday, July 29
    Saturday, July 30
    Sunday, July 31

    Some of the brightest stars will be competing at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash., the culmination of a season's worth of hard work, early mornings and countless sacrifices will be put to the test for an exciting competition.

Marymoor Park Concert Series

    Looking for an opportunity to help the environment along the Green and Cedar Rivers! King County manages 25,389 acres of parks, pools, open space, natural land and trails. This includes 68 baseball fields, 61 soccer fields, four pools, 88 picnic areas, 34 playgrounds, 27 tennis courts, 13 boat launch sites, more than 175 miles of trails, six fishing piers, four community gardens, a climbing rock, the area's best off leash dog park and the world class Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
