Free summer concerts, entertainment are music to the ears of King County Fairgoers

You can't go wrong with King County Fair headline entertainment. From music to juggling to magic, all the entertainment is FREE with the purchase of your admission ticket to the Fair.

Tonight on the main stage, local Seattle band, The Beatniks, will be peforming at the King County Fairgrounds in Enumclaw at 8 p.m.

A Seattle band, The Beatniks are known for performing the tunes of the 60's, 70's, and 80's with high-energy and passion that appeals to audiences from the young to the young at heart.

Additional outdoor summer entertainment at the fair includes:

Linda Severt

  • Thursday, July 21 at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, July 22 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 23 at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Linda is an energetic performer who does it all - juggling, improv, clowning and music.

  • Thursday, July 21 at 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Friday, July 22 at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 24 at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Toby Wessel has been performing his award winning magic show for 25 years. He has appeared on the PBS television special The Art of Magic.

Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem

  • Friday, July 22 at noon

Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem are a young, hip, string band with wicked percussion, sublime lead singing, great harmonies, sparkling original songs and a deep repertoire.

Juliet Wyers

Thursday, July 21 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Juliet's songs ring with melodies that reflect the words' meanings and hop with rhythmic life.

Sub-Motive

  • Thursday, July 21 at 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 23 at 5:30 p.m.

Exploding onto the Seattle music scene this year their popularity with audiences across the Northwest has exploded captivated teen clubs as well as nationally renowned music festivals.

GruVbox

  • Thursday, July 21 at 6 p.m.

Funk and R&B, the GruVbox take listeners on a musical ride with the dynamic chart topping hits of the 70s, '80s, '90s, 2K and even the Motown Era!

Space Needles

  • Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m.

The Space Needles play energetic "Twisted Seattle Surf Music".

Jonathan Harris

  • Friday, July 22 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 at 4:30 p.m.

With country charm, Jonathan delights audiences with his songwriting skills and outgoing personality.

Cylas Blues Band

  • Saturday, July 23 at 6 p.m.

Texas Blues with a little bit of rock and roll best describes Cylas Blues Band. The performance will include covers and original songs.

Head for the Hills Blugrass Band

  • Saturday, July 23 at 7 p.m. (also at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.)

The Band performs a high-energy set that puts smiles on faces and draws young and old alike to the dance floor.

Yerbabuena

  • Sunday, July 24 at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Based in Seattle, the 11-piece charanga orchestra performs hot Cuban salsa to Northwest audiences.

Mary Wiles

  • Sunday, July 24 at 2 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Award winning singer/songwriter Mary Wiles is able to play the banjo, fiddle, blues harmonica, mandolin, guitar and keyboards and will wow audiences at the King County Fair.

Alleyoop

  • Saturday, July 23 at 11 a.m.
  • Sunday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Performance of stories and musical games, while playing guitar, ukulele, and whistles. His puppets “Billy Bear” and “LimberJack” join in the fun. He is a one man variety show and there's always plenty of interaction with his young audiences.

Logging Show

  • Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, at 1 p.m.

From log-rolling to axe-throwing, Northwest logging traditions are put on skillful display.

BMX Stunt Bike Show

  • Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 at 6:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

The team delivers a high-energy performance of flatland and high-flying ramp stunts. Ride and Glide will amaze the crowd by spinning, gliding, riding and hopping their bikes through amazing tricks and stunts!

Arm Wrestling Tournament

  • Sunday, July 24 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.


Don't forget tomorrow is Qwest Mascot Day on Friday, July 22, where anyone dressed as their favorite team mascot gets in free from 10 a.m. - noon.

Included in the admission price is access to all the shows, with entertainment scheduled on three different stages.

General admission prices are $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and $5 for seniors 62 and over.

Hours for the fair are: July 20 & 21 (Wed & Thurs) -- 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; July 22 & 23 (Fri & Sat) -- 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; July 24 (Sun) -- 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
