Brightwater World Water Day Celebration World Water Day Celebration, March 21, 2015Join us for World Water Day 2015 at Brightwater Center! Come celebrate the human connection to water around the globe and locally, as well as learn what we can do to protect the plentiful waters of the Puget Sound region. We’ll have activities for all ages including art projects, outdoor explorations, science experiments, and tours of Brightwater's public art collection to help us learn more about the world of water! Pack a lunch, bring a friend and visit us between 10:00am and 1:00pm - our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to guide your activities and answer your questions. Register here! Amorous Amphibians Night Hike Amorous Amphibians Night Hike, April 3, 2015What’s all that racket? Why, the sweet sounds of amorous amphibians have begun! Participants will learn about native frogs, their calls and habits in an engaging indoor presentation and then head outdoors at dusk to hunt for breeding frogs, toads, salamanders, newts and their eggs in our frog-filled wetland.
