Velvetleaf
Abutilon theophrasti

velvetleaf plantThis Class A noxious weed has a very limited distribution in Washington State and eradication is required throughout the state including in King County.  This weed is occasionally found near farms and ornamental gardens.  Because of the potential damage this weed could cause to cropland and other resources and the difficulty to control it once it is established, early detection and effective, rapid response is essential.
