meadow clary plantThis Class A weed is found in limited distribution in Stevens County, Washington where it is invasive and difficult to control in open range lands or pastures. Meadow clary is a perennial with a persistent root stock. It is similar to clary sage, but its leaves are longer and more linear and its purple flowers lack the big showy bracts.

Eradication of meadow clary is required in King County.
