Dense-flowered cordgrass
Spartina densiflora

This Class A noxious weed was added to the State Noxious Weed List in 2003.dense-flowered cordgrass It has a very limited distribution in Washington State. It was discovered in the North Bay area of Grays Harbor and it was found at Race Lagoon, near Penn Cove on Whidbey Island.

Unlike other Spartina species, S. densiflora does not have rhizomes. Spread is by seed or by vegetative growth.
