Project Description Plant enthusiasts, hikers and others who want to help project our natural areas are encouraged to join the effort to locate (and control) invasive species in the beautiful Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley and the Snoqualmie Pass Gateway trails of the South Fork Snoqualmie.
The Middle Fork-South Fork invasive weed project trains volunteers to survey along the beautiful trails of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley and in the upper South Fork Snoqualmie watershed. Help survey the area's spectacular trail system for invasive weeds so we can stop them before they get entrenched. We’re surveying trails from Mt. Si near North Bend to Dutch Miller Gap in the heart of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Read the project reports below to see what we've found so far. To sign up to survey a trail or for more information, email Mark Boyar or Sasha Shaw. To find out about weed removal work parties in the Middle Fork, see the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust website.
